Are you tired of taking off your shoes before you go through security at the airport ?
Getting a frozen shoulder from removing that laptop from your carry-on one too many times?
I feel your pain! Following are quick & easy steps to speed up the slow process of airport check in drama…
—Any U.S. citizen who is a member of Global Entry and/or the U.S. Customs and Border Protection(CBP) or Sentri (which are the Trusted Traveler Programs), is eligible to participate in the TSA Precheck Program TSA Pre✓. This program is for domestic travel only.
–United, Delta, American, Alaska and U.S. Air are the participating carriers. All you have to do is link your Frequent Flyer profile with your Global Entry number for each airline and , voila, you’re eligible for TSA Pre✓!!!
TSA Pre✓allows travelers to whizz through the U.S. airport security checkpoints via designated ‘express’ lanes—it’s like an EZ pass for people!
There’s no need to take off your shoes, remove your jackets/ belts, don’t have to throw out the water you just bought before the security guard tells you to throw it away and the 3.4 oz bottles are history (Click here for rules on traveling with liquids). Oh Happy Day!
As with life, there are always exceptions so, if , by chance, you might be subject to a random search, at least you’ll be fully clothed!
